Season Finale – Inna Faliks, piano

Celebrated as “adventurous and passionate” (The New Yorker), Ukrainian-born pianist Inna Faliks returns to St. Matthew’s Music Guild to perform the West-coast premiere of Richard Danielpour’s Piano Concerto No. 4 (A Hero’s Journey).  A frequent collaborator with Mr. Danielpour, Ms. Faliks shares a passion with the Grammy Award-winning composer for deep lyricism and brilliant virtuosity.  Rossini’s sparkling Tancredi Overture and Stravinsky’s driving Danse Concertantes round out the evening and the season.

• Our casual pre-concert conversation, “Liner notes,” begins at 7:10 pm and is free to all ticket holders.
• Our hope is that we will be able to present our season finale at our regular performance home – St. Matthew’s Church in Pacific Palisades. If conditions do not permit us to use St. Matthew’s, the concert will take place at St. Augustine’s Church, 1227 Fourth Street, Santa Monica. Please check back for more information.
